The Center for Transportation Policy (CTP) was founded to advocate for policies that will keep the country’s transportation systems operating effectively to benefit Americans—whether on the road, through the air, via tracks, or on the water. The CTP evaluates policies with the free market and safety as the north star. Too often, government red tape, high taxes, and a lack of transparency jeopardize travelers, transportation businesses, and the economy. The CTP holds the government accountable.
